I was so happy to have my mom here to celebrate Mayah’s 2nd
birthday! We did her birthday
festivities a couple of days early so she could be here for it.
Yay! Lots of
presents sent from America!
I had been saving a Betty Crocker gluten-free cake mix for
this occasion. Of course, I should
have just given Mayah a big bowl of icing because that’s all she wanted to eat.
When the icing had all been licked off her cupcake, this is
what she did:
Maybe I should feed her sugar more often so it’s not a
complete shock to her system when she does have it. That would be silly though, wouldn’t it?
In happy news, Mayah is starting to speak more in complete
sentences now. Her vocabulary
increases daily, though most people can’t understand her. She loves to dance, jump, run around
and act silly at all times. She
will scream at the top of her lungs if she is not happy with Abigail. She will also give hugs and kisses and
say she is sorry when she does something wrong. Currently, her favorite foods are: gluten-free bread, cereal, and rice. And milk. And nothing else.
She is a handful and a joy!
