Wow, this little blog
has been pretty sad lately. Sorry
about that. Our lives the last
several months have been a mix of super busy weeks followed by boringly mundane
weeks. This afternoon, I realized
that I haven’t loaded any pictures on my computer since Easter! And that I have hardly taken any
pictures since then. Well, I’ll
slowly get you caught up on our little lives!
We had a really nice
Easter here. We didn’t have any
big plans other than going to lunch and then the international church that afternoon. We ended up going to a new “fancy”
restaurant that made us feel like we had to whisper while we were all drinking
out of very breakable wine goblets.
After we left the restaurant, Abigail told us that “this was the best
day ever!”
In Sunday School the
girls made Easter baskets. This
particular church has a dual-language service. Even though their class is taught primarily in the local
language, there is some translation that goes on to help them understand. It has been a good fit for us over the
last couple of months.
Aren’t these dresses
adorable? My mom brought them when
she visited just before Easter.
