Balboa

A little disclaimer:  I just realized that I scheduled this post for December of 2012.  So even though it is a little past due, enjoy!

I am a little behind on the blog.  The last month has been a little crazy!  We came back to Memphis for Thanksgiving.  The girls and I stayed here while Nick returned to California to finish up the semester.  He got back to Memphis a week before Christmas and we have been enjoying the time together!

I started this post a while ago, but never finished it.  So I thought I would post it now!  One day in California, we took a little drive to Balboa Island and saw the sights.

We rode the ferry.

We played in the arcade.  Yes, that is Nick on a motorcycle with Abigail in front of him and Mayah on his back.  

And we just enjoyed the day together!  This was probably in the middle of the semester when Nick had a little more free time.  The last couple months of the semester, Nick spent about 50 hours a week in the school library.  So we were definitely grateful for the family days we had, and made the most of them!
