As long as they aren't playing the Cardinals, we can root for the Dodgers! Really, we will look for any excuse to go to a baseball game, no matter who is playing :) We went to a Dodgers game last Friday night. We sat in the outfield bleachers and had lots of fun!
It also happened to be fireworks night. Did you know that if it is fireworks night at Dodger Stadium, the fans actually get to sit on the baseball field to watch the fireworks? It was probably one of the most exciting things that has happened to us in a long time! The grass was so soft. The girls loved playing on it. (Where we live in Asia, there is lots of concrete. No grass. If there happens to be a patch of pretty grass anywhere, there is a sign that tells you to stay off the grass. So Abigail has loved being able to walk in the grass here! I loved watching the smile on her face as she took her shoes off and walked on the field!)
The Dodgers won, so it was a pretty good night! Hooray for lots of chances to go to baseball games!
