After only a few days of being in Chiang Mai, Abigail was already familiar with Starbucks. We don't go there that often (maybe once a week) but she quickly learned that the Starbucks sign=coffee. Anytime we see a Starbucks she shouts "Coffee!" Even if we are driving by in a taxi. Even if we are down the street and all that is visible is the little Starbucks sign.
Don't worry, she is just drinking ice water. She has never even tasted coffee. But she knows that's what Daddy drinks. So she likes going to Starbucks.
Of course, going to Starbucks also means that she gets a bite of my chocolate croissant. That could be another reason why she likes it so much!
Upon further reflection, maybe we have visited Starbucks more often than I originally thought. The last time we visited, all of the employees knew Abigail by name. Starbucks, what will we do without you?
