On Sunday, we spent 12 hours traveling from Chiang Mai back to our home. We had 6 pieces of luggage totaling 70 kg. We managed to make it home with everything, without having to pay for all of the extra luggage! (Sometimes it helps to check in with a female flight attendant--they are always sympathetic to families with kids and say things like, "Your luggage is 30 kg overweight, but it's no problem!") We arrived home exhausted but happy to be back!
Our first day back home was Mayah's one-month birthday. It's hard to believe she is already a month old! She is a very happy baby and is eating well. She has already gained 3 lbs since birth! She loves to snuggle and is starting to make eye contact. Abigail loves holding her, putting her pacifier in her mouth, and helping me by getting Mayah's diapers and burp cloths.
We celebrated our return home by going to one of our favorite restaurants for smoothies. We are so glad to be back and are looking forward to the return of normal life!
